Although I was born in Windsor in the UK, I migrated to New Zealand when I was five years old so consider myself to be a Kiwi! Apart from spending a few years living across the ditch in Australia, most of my life has been spent in the South island of New Zealand and I currently live in the beautiful Banks Peninsula harbourside village of Diamond Harbour.
A diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in September 2016 forced me to leave my job in International Logistics, an industry I’ve been involved with all my adult life. The silver lining was that it gave me the necessary time to spend editing a series of stories I’d written many years earlier about a polar bear called Maisey Morley. The first book in this series, Maisey Morley’s First Christmas was published by Nightingale Books in January 2022. I have also written an unpublished series of stories about my delightful ginger cat, Weasley along with posts that describe my journey with multiple sclerosis, plus a few stories and articles that I’ve had published.
